Kara Donovan-Guido, LMT  

Licensed Massage Therapist

Kara is the founder of Lighthouse Healing Massage Therapy. Having graduated in 2002 from the Swedish Institute in New York City, she now practices massage in Madison, WI. Kara enjoys working with women from pre-conception through birth and beyond — specializing in perinatal massage therapy. 

​

Kara is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, having studied with the International Loving Touch Foundation, and she is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals organization. She loves teaching infant massage to parents and caregivers, increasing their bond, and alleviating some of the more common symptoms found in infancy. She believes that knowledge is power, and provides education and resources. She is excited to be part of this group and learn from its collective wisdom.

Kara is currently studying shamanism with Debra Morrill and has studied herbalism with Kathy Eich and Kathleen Wildwood.

She is a former instructor in the Therapeutic Massage Therapy programs at Globe University in Middleton, and MATC in Madison, WI.
