Patricia Smith

Occupational Therapist, Lactation Consultant

Patricia Smith OTRL IBCLC is an Occupational Therapist and Lactation Consultant. She has been an Occupational Therapist for the past 27 years and an IBCLC for the past 10 years. She has had a private practice for the past 18 years where she works with dyads with challenging breastfeeding and other feeding issues using therapy techniques and oral motor strategies. In her practice she uses both her hats as an occupational therapist and lactation consultant to fully assess the big picture approach to what is happening, so they have the best possible long-term outcomes.

She follows families with babies and toddlers with a variety of therapy needs to thrive developmentally. In addition, she works with moms with breast congestion issues affecting their comfort while nursing using lymphatic work. She is trained through the international institute of infant massage and is a certified yoga instructor and has training through the Upledger, Barral and Chickly Institutes.
